A Review of Women In Science: 50 Fearless Pioneers Who Changed The World by Rachel Ignotofsky

Women in Science is a really fun book. Each figure gets a colorful illustration in the folk-playful style seen on the beautiful cover and a page of information about her life and accomplishments.

That actually works together really, really well. It's not overwhelming, which tackling the lives of scientists can easily get that way, so it's impressive the amount of information that we were given in just a page felt...fun.

I mean, it's not just fun. It's giving a breath of life and recognition to females who shaped the discoveries around us- and a lot of us haven't heard of them. I only recognize a few that I was already familiar with. And that's awesome.

Overall, it's a well-done guide.

And I can't help but think it needs to go in my science-loving daughter's Easter basket...
